Flash Collar for 20'-40' Fiberglass Flagpoles

These are generally for Atlantic Fiberglass Flagpoles but could be used for other 4.5" or 5.5" butt diameter flagpoles.

If buying for an existing Atlantic Fiberglass Flagpole, use the Small, 4.5" Diameter Collar for Groundset 20', 25' Poles and Hinge Base 20', 25' and 30' Poles.

If buying for an existing Atlantic Fiberglass Flagpole use the Large, 5.5" Diameter Collar for Groundset 30' and 35' Poles and Hinge Base 33', 35' and 40' Poles. 

For 50' and 60' Atlantic Fiberglass Flagpoles use the Large Metal Flash Collar

How to Measure Your Flagpole for the Right Collar Size:

Many people wrap a rope or tape measure around the base of their flagpole to get the size — this gives you the circumference, not the diameter.

✅ To find the correct diameter (the number you need for the collar size), simply divide the circumference by 3.14 (π).
Example: If the rope around your pole measures 27", divide by 3.14 → your pole has a diameter of about 8.6", so you’d want a collar that fits a 9" pole.
